Private beta help and safety
ACE is currently in private beta. Use is limited to Brian's household and invited testers.
What ACE does
ACE helps parents create tasks, assign work, review completed chores, award points, and offer rewards kids can request.
What beta means
ACE is still changing. Use it only with your own household or invited testers, start small, and report anything confusing or broken before relying on it for important routines.
Invite types
A parent or guardian invite adds another adult to an existing ACE family. A trusted beta family invite lets a new tester create their own first family during private beta. Use the exact invite link you were sent and sign in with the invited email address.
Child links and PINs
Parents create a private child link and PIN. Kids open that link, enter the PIN, and see only their own dashboard. If a child is marked inactive, create a fresh link after reactivation.
Points and rewards
Approved tasks and recognition add points. Approved rewards spend points. Start with a few simple tasks and rewards so balances stay easy to understand.
Proof photo safety
Keep proof photos optional at first. When photos are needed, avoid faces, personal documents, screens, addresses, school information, and anything sensitive. Proof photos are stored privately and opened by parents through short-lived signed preview links.
Add ACE to iPhone Home Screen
Open ACE in Safari, tap Share, choose Add to Home Screen, then confirm. Use the hosted ACE URL.
Report a problem
Use the Report a problem link in the parent dashboard or email Brian with what happened, what page or task you were using, and your device/browser. Do not send passwords, PINs, private photos, or secrets.
Reset or delete beta data
During beta, ask Brian for help resetting a family or deleting test data. Family reset preserves history while closing active work and resetting active child balances.
Known limitations
External-family beta, notifications, SMS, exports, formal support tickets, photo deletion, and production monitoring are not ready yet.
